Arts Night and an Alumni Panel on Wednesday, January 12th
Happy Holidays! We are happy to announce that we are planning an in person Arts Night and an Alumni Panel on Wednesday, January 12th. This evening will have something for everyone. In the complex where we are located, the church has graciously offered us the use of their halls.
So the evening will start at 5:30 in the church’s hall with a panel made up of Clearway alumni students. This portion of the night is for anyone (students and families) who are interested in learning more about life after Clearway from a few of our graduates. The panel will be talking about life after Clearway whether it be school or working and sharing their experiences. They will try to answer all of your questions.
At 6:30 in Clearway’s school building, families will have time to walk through Clearway to see murals, art work, technology projects, and other displays. For those that have not seen Clearway’s space, we are happy for families to tour the space.
At 7:00, the performances, including theater, circus, improv and music will perform back in the hall.
We continue to monitor Covid numbers. Our current plan is to space out chairs, require masks inside the building, and not serve food or drink during the Arts Night Celebration.
Clearway students staying after-school as part of the after-school program, will return to Clearway prior to the Alumni night and have time to eat dinner spaced out in a similar fashion that we do at lunch.
We continue to do pooled testing at Clearway. Our participation is currently around 50%. Any families that have not signed up, can still do so by clicking on the following link. Pooled testing. Thank you to all families and students who have worked hard to sign up all eligible students and community members for vaccination and pooled testing. We hope over the next few weeks, more of our students will be eligible for boosters and we hope families take advantage of this opportunity if and when it becomes available.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
